Visual artist and painter.
She graduated with honors from the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2006.
In 2021, she defended her PhD in art at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce with the dissertation entitled "Madonna - semantic dualism".
From 2021, lecturer at the Art Studio of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Natural Sciences and Humanities in Siedlce.
After graduation, she co-founded painting studios in Warsaw's Praga district. In 2009, she founded the FRONT ART Artistic Association, of which she was the president for the next 9 years, organizing a number of exhibitions, open-air events and festivals in Poland and abroad.
Since 2012, he has been a co-founder of the TA3 Artistic Tenement House in Warsaw. Currently, he is one of the curators of TA3 Gallery.
This is my intimate story about a woman. A pretext for reflecting on the universal issues of one's own female identity, as well as what is feminine and what is used to be regarded as feminine. I am looking for fullness in the sphere of the sacred and the profane. In pain, ugliness, physiology and beauty. I am looking for an idol, madonna, goddess, teacher in myself and in other women. It's not just about the intellectual layer. I want the images to have a strong physical impact on the viewer, so that they can feel its tissue and energy under the skin. It is energy that carries my story. Painting is my meditation and release.
The female nude is one of the oldest representations in art. For me, it is a pretext to reflect on universal issues that the artist faces over and over again. Especially the female artist, so sparsely represented in art over the centuries. My work has become a way to get to know myself and to translate into the language of painting the feeling of fear and fundamental questions about the existence of mankind, especially women, and a kind of meditation and release.
